Maasmechelen Village – BALR. competition

Article 1
The BALR. competition, hereafter the “Competition”, is organised by VR Maasmechelen Tourist Outlets Comm. VA. (“the Promoter”), with registered office at Zetellaan 100, 3630 Maasmechelen, Belgium and registered with the Crossroad Bank of Enterprises (Kruispuntbank der Ondernemingen) under the number 0465.707.490.
The Competition starts on 15 April 2019 at 20.00 CET and finishes on 16 April 2019 at 23.59 CET.

Article 2
All physical persons can participate in the Competition on the condition that they are at least 18 years old and participate as private citizens. Employees of VR Maasmechelen Tourist Outlets Comm. VA., its affiliated companies, members of their family in the first and second line as well as employees of our marketing partners involved in this Competition, are not allowed to participate.

Article 3
On 15 April 2019 at 20:00 CET, all Privilege members will receive a newsletter. In the newsletter, a link will be inserted. In order to participate, participants will have to send an e-mail to contest@maasmechelenvillage.com and answer the question “Who are the founders of the brand BALR.?”. Only one entry per person is permitted.

Article 4
Every participation with an invalid account or wrong personal details will be null and void. All participations received after the closing date are automatically disqualified.

Article 5
5 times the following prize consisting out of the following can be won:
• Access to the VIP opening on 18 April 2019;
• Goodie bag (1 BALR. Beach Bag + 1 BALR. T-Shirt).

Article 6
The prizes as mentioned in Article 5 will be awarded to the winners, i.e. the persons who have submitted their correct responses the fastest to the question: “Who are the founders of the brand BALR.?”.

The 5 winners will receive a confirmation message with further details on 17 April 2019 at 12.00 CET.

The winners are invited to Maasmechelen Village to claim their prize, upon presentation of their legitimation as proof of their identity, together with the confirmation message, on Thursday 18 April 2019 as from 10:00 CET.

Article 7
Any attempt at fraud will be sanctioned with immediate exclusion of the participant. Identification has to correspond with the name used upon registration at the website. If not, the participant will be excluded immediately.

Article 8
The prizes are personal and not transferable. They cannot be exchanged in any way, not even against its monetary value.

Article 9
In the event that the winner(s) do not fulfil the criteria stipulated in these regulations, the prizes will go to the 6th fastest person and will remain the property of the Promoter.

Article 10
The participants agree to having their identity checked and their stated address to be verified with a valid proof of id (national or international identity card or driving license). False declaration of identity or address will lead to the immediate exclusion of the participant. The Promotor may require the participants to provide proof that they are eligible to enter the Competition.

Article 11
The Promoter reserves the right to change, extend or even completely cancel the Competition due to events that are entirely beyond its control. The Promoter cannot be held liable if the Competition has to be interrupted, delayed or even cancelled due to reasons beyond its control.
Any dispute that is not expressly provided for in these rules will be decided by the Promoter whose decision is final.

The Promotor reserves the right to determine whether the rules have been respected, specifically to exclude any participant who has abused the rules.

During the Competition and additions or, in case of force majeure, changes can be published after notification by the Promotor. They will be considered as appended to these rules.

Article 12
By participating in this Competition, the participant acknowledges acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

Article 13
These personal data will be collected by the Promotor, only to be processed for selecting and contacting the winner. The provision of these personal data is required for the execution of the Competition in which the participant is involved. The entry that has won the Competition with mention of the name, username and its answer shall be shared on different social media accounts of Value Retail. All participants expressly agree with this in the manner as determined in the competition form.
Value Retail is the data controller of these personal data. The personal data shall be processed by the Promotor and stored on a local server until the winner has been contacted, with a maximum of six months after the Competition has been closed. .
The participant has the right to request Value Retail to inspect and rectify the personal data held by the Promotor. By participating, the participant acknowledges that, in case he/she has won, his/her personal data shall be shared on social media of Value Retail. Value Retail reserves the right to contact each participant for clarification and verification, whenever it sees fit. The participant has the right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority (in principle the Belgian Supervisory Authority https://www.gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be/ ).
