TERMS & CONDITIONS
Maasmechelen Village – “International Women’s Day – Win a VIP treatment”

Article 1
The competition “International Women’s Day – Win a VIP treatment” on International Women’s Day, hereafter the “Competition”, is organised by VR Maasmechelen Tourist Outlets Comm. VA. (“the Promoter”), with registered office at Zetellaan 100, 3630 Maasmechelen, Belgium and registered with the Crossroad Bank of Enterprises (Kruispuntbank der Ondernemingen) under the number 0465.707.490. The Competition starts on 2 March 2019 at 10.00 CET and finishes on 8 March 2019 at 12.00 CET (“closing date”).

Article 2
All physical persons can participate in the Competition on the condition that they are at least 18 years old and participate as private citizens. Employees of VR Maasmechelen Tourist Outlets Comm. VA., its affiliated companies, members of their family in the first and second line as well as employees of our marketing partners involved in this Competition, are not allowed to participate.

Article 3
In order to participate, participants will have to compete via contest@maasmechelenvillage.com and will have to answer the following question: “Who would you nominate as your Powerful Woman and why?”. Only one entry per person is permitted.

Article 4
Every participation with an invalid account or wrong personal details will be null and void. All participations received after the closing date are automatically disqualified.

Article 5
5 times the following prize consisting out of the following can be won:

  • Access to the VIP Lounge (including drinks and finger food) at Maasmechelen Village for the winner and a friend;
  • A gift card for an amount of €250 to be spent at Maasmechelen Village;
  • Lunch vouchers for an amount of €50 to be spent at Maasmechelen Village.

Article 6
The prizes as mentioned in Article 5 will be awarded to the winners, i.e. the persons who wrote the most original answer to the question: “Who would you nominate as your Powerful Woman and why?”.

The 5 winners will be selected by an expert jury.

The 5 winners will receive a confirmation message with further details on 8 March 2019, before 14.00 CET.

The winners are invited to Maasmechelen Village to claim their prize, upon presentation of their legitimation as proof of their identity, together with the confirmation message, on Saturday 9 March 2019 as from 10:00 CET.

Article 7
Any attempt at fraud will be sanctioned with immediate exclusion of the participant.

Article 8
The prizes are personal and not transferable. They cannot be exchanged in any way, not even against its monetary value.

Article 9
In the event that the winners do not fulfil the criteria stipulated in these regulations, the prizes will not be awarded and will remain the property of the Promoter.

Article 10
The participants agree to having their identity checked and for their stated address to be compared against their national identity card. Every false declaration of identity or address will lead to the immediate exclusion of the participant. The Promotor may require the participants to provide proof that they are eligible to enter the Competition.

Article 11
The Promoter reserves the right to change, extend or even completely cancel the Competition due to events that are entirely beyond its control. The Promoter cannot be held liable if the Competition has to be interrupted, delayed or even cancelled due to reasons beyond its control. No responsibility will be accepted for entries that are lost, late, misdirected, incorrect, garbled or incompletely received, for any reason, including (but not limited to) by reason of hardware, software, browser, or network failure, malfunction, congestion, or incompatibility at the Promotor’s servers.  The Promotor is not responsible for any human or other error that may occur in the processing of entries nor for any damage to any entrant’s or any other computer equipment arising from accessing or downloading any materials in connection with the Competition.

Any case that is not expressly provided for in these rules will be decided by the Promoter whose decision is final.

Article 12
By participating in this Competition, the participant acknowledges acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

Article 13
By participating, you are requested to provide the following personal data: your first name, your family name and your phone number. These personal data will be collected by the Promotor, to be processed for selecting and contacting the winner. The provision of these personal data is required for the execution of the Competition in which the participant is involved. The entry that has won the Competition with mention of the name, username and its answer shall be shared on different social media accounts of Value Retail. The winning participant agrees with this in the manner as determined in the competition form.

Value Retail is the data controller of these personal data. The personal data shall be processed by the Promotor and stored on a local server until six months after the Competition has been closed and the winner has been contacted.

The participant has the right to request Value Retail to inspect and rectify the personal data held by the Promotor. By participating, the participant acknowledges that, in case he/she has won, his/her personal data shall be shared on social media of Value Retail. Value Retail reserves the right to contact each participant for clarification and verification, whenever it sees fit. The participant has the right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority (in principle the Belgian Supervisory Authority https://www.gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be/ ).
